I found the photo. It's from wikpedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:..._Quarter.png I saved it locally and turned it into a black & white image and it suddenly looks like the photo in the auction. Now if I can only find 5 of these I'll be all set.

MAN what a loser! Not even a convincing scam, either. I hate slimey pieces of @#$% who take from others instead of earning their own way. I reported it to ebay. I want so bad to PM him telling him what a POS he is, but I don't want him to muck up my auctions in retaliation.

Second response from seller when I insisted he send me the pictures to my e-mail quote: Thanks for being interested in my coins I took an advise of another EBayer and took them to a dealer this morning and glade I did he is going to sell them for me at an auction house. He said I would never get what one was worth on here.

No way, no how does anyone just "find" five 1796 quarters. Only a complete loser would scan a page out of a book/auction catalog and then try to sell the "coins"

His auction say's "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale." Mr. graceoutcast, you might want to e-mail him back and ask him which auction house he is auctioning them off at because you (we) are interested. I'd like to hear his response.

I just sent them:
This has been reported multiple times, once by myself.
He is using stock photos from wikipedia.com, and posted that SAME photo 5 times to sell (yeah right) FIVE 1796 quarters worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Even though he pulled the auction when outed, he STILL has an account. I think the initial attempt at major (high dollar) fraud should warrant a banning.
Thank you for your diligence.

USArmyParatrooper, I'll post if he responds to my e-mail. I'm sure (know) that you'll post if you hear back from ebay.
