Can you share a pic? That is truly an exceptional coin. Sometimes it isn't the coin that sells itself but the time in history that it represents. I believe your coin has both qualities. Not trying to sound young or immature but that coin is awesome

I was gong to post some more pic's of coins cause I wasn't sure if I got all of them but when I was checking the links in the other post l found that this one took you to my photo bucket page with all of the pic's of the coins that I took before turning them over to the bank for catlateral on the real estate loan. So if it works right again it should show everything. I wasn't sure if I had gotten my SS Central America stuff shown. I have the long set with the (I think) 55 having just a few finer and the 57 being MS66 http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/...IMG_8068.jpg

Quote: Not trying to sound young or immature but that coin is awesome If someone uses the phrase "awesome" that constitutes "young" and/or "immature"? Is that what you were indicating?

The word "awesome" is a staple of my vernacular diet. As are the derivatives I have picked up along the way in my over four decades on the planet such as: Fully Awesome awesomeness awesome squared awesome to the fifth power divided by Pi and multiplied by infinity <Now that is used for when something is REALLY awesome, like Tommy Gun's 18th century gold that was in the hands of a founding father...awesome...

Thanks for the complements. A lot of the pieces were recommendations from my broker and the New Orleans stuff were my choice. A couple of my early date pieces are better than whats in the Smithsonian's Cabinet. Since I bought through Blanchard I may have paid a little more than with a smaller dealer, but for me being in the restaurant business when I got a little extra cash in the register I would sneak it out and buy a coin with it. As I am sure you all know coins have no reporting requirements with the Feds. I could not have built up a stock portfolio like I did with my coins. Paul Thurber is my guy at Blanchard he's a great guy and I have been dealing with him for over 12 yrs. now. John Albanese is their buyer so you know anything you get form them is going to be top of the line.
Bama Blue I think someone what's you to post a pic of your 1904 CORONET (LIBERTY) HEAD $20 Gold Eagle.

Two things I'd do if I were you;
#1. Hire a professional photographer to image your collection. #2. Send them to CAC.

That's a beautiful Coin BamaBlue. Those are both good idea's all of the coins in the pic's are being held by my back in leu of a down payment on a apartment complex. My Blanchard broker told me that they were running a special where you could send in 5 coins and they would pay the CAC fee. Since all of my coins were picked by Albanese. I think my bank would let me do that but I have been too busy to get it done.

Thanks, I think the UPS guy got a hernia bringing it into my cafe. It is a chunk. I have no silver and it really was a good price. Less than junk Morgans and a lot better Numismatic value. The counter right inside the kitchen door is as far as it has made it when I get it to a better spot I will get some nicer pictures.
