I go to school at UConn in Mansfield, CT and would be interested in this show. Any details would be great. Pamphlet also looks good!

I am arranging for bobby, our Forum Dad, to send some coin packets
that are to be passed out to kids. I have some left over that
I will send as well.

dollarman,
bobby is the 'go to' source for permission.

I used commems flyer intact.
The inside should include different comments from our members.
If you find any that you feel should be included please send them to me.
What better sales pitch than actual comments?

These are some that I like:

hey I'm 16 and I got hooked on this forum and I'm thinking
about starting a coin club in my school
and if that happens
then about 20 - 30 kids will probably join the forum.

Hello fellow coin enthusiasts!! I'm a long-time collector getting back into the hobby
after being away from it for three decades or so

I was pleased to see that there are forums for foreign currency and folks from these places to discuss our finds. Looking forward to the learning!!

For 30 years I was a U.S. type collector
I look forward to sharing and learning a lot here.

"...this site is an awesome resource
that has helped me out many times." (Used on cover)

I have been poking around these forums for a few days and can't believe all the great information.

I will then take these comments and arrange them in such a way as to create an interesting narrative.

I want to emphasize the openness of the CCF.
Only need to join is if you want to post something.
Also the emphasis on 'free to all.'
Lastly, the final product will be a collaboration and not
just the work of one member. I like that.

commems, are you willing to send me your email address so that I can send you my efforts?
Or anyone else as well.

We have seen the flyer by commems, and the moderators like it.

We request that we see and approve any other flyers or posters before their use.

Here is the result. Two sides to be printed together to form a pamphlet.
Front and back cover:
Ongoing-Effort-To-Spread-Word-Of-The-CCF
Inside text:
Ongoing-Effort-To-Spread-Word-Of-The-CCF
commems' flyer was kept intact and used. I supplemented his efforts
with quotes from our members. What better sales pitch than the enthusiasm of our members?

Once I have an official "OK" I'll send printable copies if you send me an address. Color was kept to a minimum to save on ink.
Best thing was four or five members helped me along the way. A group
effort so to speak.

Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

I have posted this latest version for Bobby and other moderators to see for comments or approval.

Personally, I would pull the part about "... I'm 16 ..." We usually remove that type info from the forum, anyway.

Thanks, Fuzzy. I'd like to take a day off as this effort proved
to be more difficult than I expected.

I haven't heard if that's okay or not. And my comment about taking off the ".. I'm 16 .." part, some moderators likes that it shows how we can inspire YN. If its not too late, leave it for now.

Mentioning he's 16 is fine.

Thanks, dad.
I'll be making these for the two men who will be receiving the coin packets.
I designed this pamphlet for adults, especially parents.
I'll be awaiting the final verdict - a go or a no go.

Matthewvincent,
When this is ready (completed) put me on your list of distributors.
The coin show I attend has an area for YN's which includes a big stack of used whitman (and others)
coin books which are free for the taking. I doubt they would be opposed to CCF flyers.

Can you change "And kids are not only welcome" to "And new collectors and Young Numismatists are not only welcome?" We should be emphasizing our dedication to new collectors of all ages.
