A low range VG-8. It has (just) enough letters in LIBERTY visible
and the reverse has a complete rim. The reverse side where the arrows are is prone to wear more so
than the right. All throughout the series.

Here is an example of a high-end VG-8:

ANACS agreed. (I had bought it raw.)
I paid a bit more than $12 for it.

Can I go G-7?

If I must choose between G-6 and VG-8, I will go VG-8.

tough call. I am kind of in the G-7 camp too, it could go either way. The weakness in the reverse rim hurts, but the obv looks full vg. If pressed, I would say VG, as the obverse wins in a face-off.

The weakness of the reverse rim is typical of the entire series.
The 13-S does not exist with the right and left rims identical.
The members of the BCCS have asked to be proved wrong, without results.
It is one of the markers of this date.
