But there was a Morgan and a Peace and other AU. Lots of mysteries for me. |

Is there any metal movement inside of the reeding? If so it is coin damage. a close up should reveal if there is metal between the reeding. A real partial collar won't have that.  The rim should not be reduced but should extend out to the rim. Note the example above. How the reeding ends and the outside diameter is wider than the reeding. I'm not seeing that on your coin. |

Stop touching the coins with your bare hands! Oil from your hands can lead to permanent finger prints on the coin. If it is worth $150, do you really want to be handling it like that? IF/when I do buy on ebay I immediately stop looking at the listing if I see pics from the seller with the coin in their bare hands. Also, if you must handle with bare hands, it's best to only handle the rim. |

I counter offered at $135. The results was ... NO SALE. Silly me? |

I am posting another (pair) of coins I believe are PARTIAL COLLAR(s)  Sorry this thread is busy with more than one ("kind") of coin. Sorry this thread is clearly mislabeled. |

Coop.............. Sorry for the thumb issue ... This picture was taken long ago ... I use gloves every day. Maybe this is a bigger pic. Are these Partial collar Eisenhower? If not ... what may they be? Thanks in advance for your help.  |

That is a lot better. What would look neat is a shot showing the partial collars in a V shape. That would make them stand out for sure.
