I paid $185 for mine. Is this a fair price?

Based on a quick ebay search, $185 is the high end of recent completed auctions for a PCGS MS69/PR69 set, but that's not terribly unreasonable IMO.

@basebal21 - good point on the mint to demand.

CC12 do you like them? Does it feel like a good deal to you? Cause thats what matters personally I think ya did great but thats just me. And my opinion I've overpaid for quite a few must haves but I'm not buying for profit I am buying to enjoy and have nice conversation pieces with plus its neat history. I have 4 2014 bu eagles I stuffed in air tites just so people can tounch em and feel the weight. I think your RP's are amazing and look great slabbed together! Simply put...AWESOME!

I really like it. It is one of my favorite things in my collection. Also, I have not seen a set in one large slab like this one. Has anyone else seen one slabbed like this?

I definitely appreciate the presentation. A single slab makes it seem more like a true set than do individual slabs. I wonder if the two coins were originally from the same set. Or if it matters.

I don't recall that being a requirement since both coins are unique to the set

Right, I don't see it being a requirement at all; just interesting if the two coins came from the same OGP and were marked as such by a TPG. Another label gimmick, perhaps:

"Folks, folks, folks...... All 5 coins are MS70/PR70 and came from the SAME, original, unadulterated OGP! Act now while there's still time! That timer is ticking away."

I blew it when I didn't order one. Really wanted to but it was either that or a new suspension for the SRT.

I chose wrong.

burks, I don't think you blew it. As we've been discussing, you can get an OGP or graded (MS69) set for close to original sales price (maybe +$10-$40) if you look on ebay.

When I was looking on ebay, I was seeing them go around the $200 range. The one I have the dealer was asking $210, but I talked him down to $185. I took mine to a show on Saturday and he said it was worth $200 retail.

I have liked it ever since it came out. I wonder if they will do something like that this year...

The RP eagles are supposedly done for for a while, so if they did do a set it would be different than the past ones. I highly doubt anything gets done with them this year though, especially with the special kennedy sets on the way
