Very nice. I did something similar, but I collect Mint Sets so my Dansco albums hold the non-satin coins. You may want to consider blocking out the unused ports. Here is mine with an explanation of how I did everything: http://www.larsdog.com/coins/nonsatin.htm

Quote: I'm not sure about the die making process that gives them the satin finish, but between 2005-2010 the uncirculated P and D mint sets contained these satin finish coins, as opposed to the regular "shinier" variety which was still available in the uncirculated business strike rolls. It's just one more nit picky variety I had to collect to call the collection complete, you know how that goes.. Good to know, thanks so much!

The lettering is not the same font as the Dansco albums. I didn't check for that because I used some gold letters I already had for my stamp collection. Checking for a better font match may well be worth the effort.

Nicely, nicely done. I was intrigued by the satins, too, and put together a dansco book similar to yours. Such ,low mintages - I think they'll be very appreciated down the road, especially comprehensive sets.

Wow those are great sets!
Anyone know why they stopped doing the satin finish?

Looks even better with the labels. Are they the 'Rub on' type?

Are they the 'Rub on' type? Thanks! The labels are stick on Brother P-touch labels with 1/4" black on clear and 3/8" black on clear. I had to special order them from Staples.
