@pish I did report the listing on here, it was a normal threepence sold as Maundy money :(. https://goccf.com/t/174071 The listing ended about 02:00-03:00 a.m. UK time, selling in the UK only?

I don't have the experience to pick up on some of the fakes that the guys on here do, I can sometimes spot some of them. In future I will report any that are reported on the forum. Perhaps if they get more than one fake report on an item, they may act quicker to take it down.
We could all take a look at Saxbys-Coins and make a day of it :)

Could someone spell out how you go about reporting a suspected fake coin to ebay? I've done this one time, but wasn't sure I did it correctly. I'd appreciate a step-by-step list on what to do.

On the page of the item, scroll down to where it has Description/Postage tabs, along to the right you will see the "report item" link. Just follow the links, you are looking for fraudulent listing. Unfortunately the options are very limited and you can't leave a comment.

@Pish I googled saxbys-coins and the reccomeneded said 'saxby's coins fakes' . The worrying thing is, I don't live overly far from this person :(. Question is the owner of saxby's coins-Mike Saxby?. @Paul For fakes do this--->On the listing midway on the right, click 'report item'. Then in the 'Report Category' click (copyright and Trademark). Next category, 'Reason for report' click (Counterfeit item or authenticity disclaimer). And finally in the 'Detailed reason' category click (Counterfeit, fake or replica items).

Oh I was going to say, there is a guy with maybe a Doctorate(Edit:he might be working on the doctorate, but he has alot of qualifications) in Birmingham university called Dr Mike Saxby. I was in a state of shock for a moment, thanks for the info.

Thanks for the information on how to report a coin. I'm cruising ebay a lot. If I find something that's obviously a fake I'll post to the group and report it myself.

It would of been very embarrassing, unfortunate that the ebay seller uses that name. I wonder if he ever get's asked about it.

I am really getting tired of seeing these fakes man. Its seriously hurting our hobby. I wish ebay screened your stuff before you sold it. Impossible...but man I wish they had a whole bunch of skilled folks to weed out this stuff. Vcoins does.
