I got just 1 set and it is weird that at one angle the lines are completely invisible and another angle they are very prominent on all 5 quarters. But I am not sending it back. When you look at it directly you can't tell. That is good enough for me. They aren't getting graded anyway.

Who knows what's down the road for collectors of this mint set... 50 years from now, some collectors may want these 'errors' for their collections.

Just received my sets about 15 min's ago. Made the call. Re-packed and I will be shipping them out for replacement tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the replacements are any better?

Sounds like some are and some are the same I plan to keep my sets (w/ lines) at this point.

My quarters also have the said lines.
The rest of the coins look decent though. A tiny little non-cameo like speck on Coolidge's face, though.
Is it even worth it at this point to send them back? (I'm probably not gonna grade, slab, or sell these. They are simply for personal enjoyment.)

Uh oh. Take a look at the reeded edge of my half dollar. Does this look like a coin case issue or a coin issue? This damage big enough to warrant a new set? Edit: Actually, it seems that all of the quarters have this thing too. I'm kinda new to this, so is this anything to be concerned about? Edit2: Actually, I'm quite baffled by this. Almost all of the coins seem to exhibit this. Perhaps it's a seating for the coins so they don't move around?

That looks like the case from that pic. Not sure though.
Waiting for my replacements to get here.

I enjoy getting these sets every year. Only once did I return one where the nickle had a section of polished depression where some lettering should have been. Probably should have kept the error.

My replacements just came. Lines in quarters. Beginning to think that all of them have lines in the quarters.

Just spoke to my LCS. He went through an entire case. All striped to some degree.

They can't all have the lines... I've turned mine every which way at all kinds of angles and in all kinds of light and not a single line is visible.
