Dave, if you have all you need then ignore this. However, if you are short of the total you need, let me know. I have my 1928 Peace dollar and my $10 gold Indian I have been thinking about having graded at some time in the future. If you do this again, I will definitely participate, I realize my response is a little slow. Jim

Thanks Dave My first choice would be PCGS but any service would be fine. Please PM me you address once again I will be home for a few hours on the 7th before flying to Columbia for a few days. I can get the coins packaged up and out to you then.

Ok I have a couple coins I would be interested in sending. How much would it cost? Is it too late? Would it be worth it to send an 1882s morgan (weak strike) and a 1909 vdb? I'm new to the whole slabbed coin think seeing is how I have no certified coins.

Zach, have you posted these in the grading section yet to get an idea of the grade? I assume the 1909 you're talking about is what you are practicing your photos on? I can tell you this, Superdave will take the coins he receives and take ludicrous photos of them. Not to fear, I believe he wasn't satisfied on a few during the last go round, so he made adjustments and spent MORE time taking photos until they were to his standards. Unbelievable chap that one. Having said that, I can't answer if it's too late or not, but he will give you his honest opinion on whether it's worth the slab. I personally look at it this way. I don't remember what I spent on a lot of my coins because my book keeping stinks. But if I think it will be even twice what the grading fee is, I would consider submitting it because I know it will most likely hold it's value or appreciate over time. This is just MY opinion and may not be the same as others.... Oh, I think the pricing is ~$15-$20 per coin. PCGS.com shows the pricing if you look around the submission center stuff.

OK, we have to make some decisions here, guys. I have firm commitments from three, and everybody else is up in the air. Contact me either here or thru email, and we'll get this done.

I'm assuming you're counting me as one of the three. If not, I have a 1928 Peace for sure, and one potential crossover if you go with NGC. I do have some notes, again if you go with NGC, but I don't have the minimum on my own. I think I have 2 maybe three I would consider. Let me know when you want the coins sent. I will be out of town on business in South Carolina all next week beginning on SUnday, so I would need to send to you prior to that. Oh, and PM sent.

I'm up for it. Just need to know how all of this is going to work. If you pay you now, or pay you after you ship everything to the TPG's? Also, I'm leaving on the 11th, so I would have send my coins in soon. I have a 3cn, maybe a Shield nickel, and anywhere from 1-3 Morgan dollars.

Dave, I would like to submit 3 coins. The first one is a rimless Washington dollar and the second one is a 1916 D Mercury. The third one is a 1939 D Jefferson. If the Mercury is a problem I'll send in a Franklin half dollar instead. Let me know where to ship and what payment you prefer. Thank You Spider
