I don't really know how to go about doing that. I don't have an image optimizer unless you could do it in like paint or something haha.

When you go to upload a photo, there is an option to use the image optimizer. It is right under "upload image".

to the community I tried to enhance your pictures a bit but wasn't able to make them any better. It's difficult to say if it's real or not. My first impression is that it's a copy. You don't often find this type in this nice of condition. Can you give us the size and weight?

It's roughly 1 3/4cm long and about 3.2 grams

Now that's a coin I would love to clean! The boat kind of looks something that would have been minted in the province of Phoenicia though

I apologize for the delay in response time, the page had a 404 error for a while. I am definitely wanting to sell it I just have no idea where to start or even if it's worth selling. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

First you have to establish whether it is real or not. To do that, we need better pics. There are a lot of copies about, we need to find out whether your coin is real.

I don't have a computer with enough megapixels to take a better picture. However friends of mine have some but that will be over the next couple of days. Other than that what would help determine whether or not it's real?

The weight is fine which is good, but these are very frequently faked, and very infrequently found in this condition. How did you come across it if you don't mind saying?
Also, when you do get access to a better camera make sure to take a picture of the edge of the coin along with the two sides.

Just picked this coin up at a fair and wanted to know if there was an easy way to authenticate it. It a Marc Anthony denarius, but in much better shape than any images I've seen posted which makes me suspicious. I believe it is solid silver by the weight of it which is what made me grab it.

to the community. You could really do with starting off a new thread for your coin and post pictures of both sides with the weight in grams and the size in mm. Also post a picture of the edge if you can manage it.
