Just found this coin at a fair and it caught my eye. Any help with determining whether it's actually an authentic Marc Antony denarius would be really cool. Thanks for the help!

I don't have dimensions--couldn't find a ruler. But placed on top of a current US penny (couldn't find a dime either!). don't know weight, but it's heavy for it's size. I would highly doubt it's an alloy.

I am far from an expert, but if this coin is real it would be in unusually very good shape for one of marc antony's legionary denarii .

Like Pish, I don't like the look of that edge. Looks like it may have a casting seam.

The dead give away that it's a fakes is the casting line along the edge.

Thanks for the help! It does appear to have a seam along the edge. I still think it's a pretty cool little coin regardless.
