I realized that the others I bought did not even come close as how beautiful they actually are through a photo. I guess its hard to show proof like theough photos? The seller said that this is very very good

My next one is upgrading this to a PL. There are 2 on ebay for around $350 ish. I have a ton of cc morgans mostly ungraded. I found 2 complete rolls of cc morgans in every grade imaginable. I took out all of the really nice ones and sold 3 circulated ones and one gsa on ebay. Was going to put another dozen on. I dont think theres any reason to have many multiples. A few nights ago, I counted 61 1881 s morgans. Why? Maybe he bought them as he came across them? Or investment? I dont know

Something else you can do is check VAMworld for the proof strike listing just to make sure you have the real deal. Here is the 1883 proof listing http://www.vamworld.com/1883-P+PROOF note the lump on the cheek that is obvious on the coin in the ebay listing.

I also do not know how old those coins were in the collection. So the pricing on them could be from many years ago?

Some of those coins don't look truly PL to me. It's a designation that the TPG's got a little loose with in the past, but tightened up on in recent years.

I agree with the aforementioned...pace yourself and be selective with your choices.

I dont really think buying some graded coins is that big of a thing. I am taking all of you guy's advice very seriously. If not I would have bought wvery proof morgan on ebay by now. I like the idea of getting a pl coin for as many different years as possible. Also, I'm def going to finish the set. Will be a fun challenge. I'm going to do it in 64 grade no less. Even though I have a few 67,s, its way too much money. Even 64 there are a few years that may get expensive if I dont already have them.
