Well I work for a county government And have been dealing with the right hand not talking to the left hand for the last few days so I was most likely a bit harsh. I am sure the mint is doing a bang up job of scre.. I mean setting up the new website.

For the bazillionth time, the mint is not the government. They are their own entity. Besides, do you really think you could install an entirely new system on this scale while running the old one at the same time and do smoothly?

Yes, that's how most switch overs happen.

It is not uncommon to take several days to convert data between an old and new system and run through the backlog of data accumulated during said outage. We took seven days in March.

The U.S. Mint has given ample advance notice of this ordering freeze; several months, I believe. They may lose a few sales due to the moratorium but hopefully in the long run it makes for a better shopping experience. It's a cost of doing business.

Looks ok to me. Proof will be when the Kennedy sets go on sale and we see how it performs under stress.

I was able to get in. It forced me to reset my password by e-mail confirmation. Other than that, no problems.

Logged on just fine after resetting my pass word. I like it. Cleaner. The layout is good. Lets see how the ordering goes.

They should add "date of issue" to the choices of sorting. There's one called "new products", but it doesn't appear to sort correctly.

Can anyone find coins that are "No Longer Available" on the Mint's new website?
