Actually it only cost him $7800... Not $22,800

Sorry about that, $7800 is the correct amount.

Still, selling for $108 (less fees) mean a loss of $50 per coin or total $2500 loss.

I only counted 50 coins, but we don't know how much he paid for it. Could be he got them at a bit of a bargain - based on quantity purchase.

If not photoshop - looks nice, the all picture.

But in overall - isn't it bad what he did?

When someone buy one to resell - its normal and usual thing, but to hoard the quantity such this?

According to location, I guess, that he emptied CC&C stock.
Btw, it even might be CC&C related account itself, trying to distribute the stock in different ways.

Does someone still want the Glass Snowmen?

As a Buyer only I can say that this picture is the biggest turnoff you can offer me. The vast quantity they have in stock on this coin makes me think it will hardly gain in value and that they got stuck with a lot of them.

Seems like a stupid way to sell something.
It makes me think they are way to common to be worth anything.

So, you think most of the buyers buy coins thinking only if they will worth anything?

This is ridiculous if these were bought on spec for resale. The guy isn't very bright. Glad I cancelled my candy cane last year.

This person will loose more money after you factor in ebay and PayPal fees.

The seller meant by this, that the auction / listing for one coin only, despite he shows on the picture multiple items.

I didn't buy one when they came out, mainly because of the mintages being too high, I likely will get rid of my Bubble bee and butterfly since I never did get a ladybug and likely wont now. Although I do really like them meh..we will see.

If this guy had a wholesale relationship with a store like J&M or RCM itself I'm sure that selling the coin for $109 isn't too bad of a loss.

Glad I didn't buy any of these, you can BIN for $100 on ebay.... a 33% drop from release price...ugh.. Too bad the candy cane isn't real, at least you could have something sweet to suck on as a consolation prize.
