May be we should have a poll/contest predicting when/if the price for these set will hit $75 or $100? It will be interesting to come back and read latter on.

It's a good read to go back to page one of this thread and watch how the set evolved from routine to special.
...and...re: price levels....I think that an almost 300% rise to the $50 range will hang for a while..I don't see $100 happening but I am very happy with $50

@Foxwoods Man: Does that mean you are selling some now?

I have no immediate plans to sell any. I will revisit that thought in a year or so...

...and I just sold all I had - a sparrow in the hand is better than a pigeon on the roof. This also means I won't continue my list.

A profit in hand is a profit. A profit on paper just looks good. I never have issues with anyone who takes a decent gain. We will miss your charts.

I, like some, sold the one I had left(I ordered two and sold one earlier for $28 (still almost double profit :D)) for $50. Three times the profit? Yes, please. I maybe should have kept one or ordered more to begin with but I am not really into that much of the Sacabucks. Maybe someday that will change and I may look back at this and cry. But probably not :P

With the MoD set out, I guess all the attentions are diverted away from this coin? I would think the market for this set will not rise since many are diverting cash toward the MoD so that they are not bidding up this set and those with extra set may try to sell to get the cash for MoD set. Both of this factors will control the price from rising.
More special coins will come soon....

Let's hope the Mint will throw another nugget like this set for 2015, but I'm not holding my breath.

The Presidential Coin & Chronicles sets later this year will be the next hot releases to grab collector and flipper attention. Already have seen a pre-sale Truman C&C on the Bay for $77.95. Which may be a steal in the long term.

I hear what your sayin' Bizybackson, but it's not $14 like the 2014 NA$ set.
The Presidential C&C sets are continuations of previous Presidential sets.

Yeah, the price for Presidential Coin & Chronicles w/ the silver medal will be in the $50-$60 range (same as the MoD set) vs the NA$ set. We will see a lot of set being break apart.....

Now that there will be another Sac C&C set it's time to revisit the 2014 release. Prices have come down hard judging by the last completed auctions: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...045573.m1684This is where things were in April: https://goccf.com/t/190284&whichpage=27#1878393This shows again that the market moves fast and that collectors get 'distracted' very easily. The 2015 Sac C&C set will have an increased mintage 90k vs. 50k, and I very much doubt the 2015 version will ever sell for more than US$25 on the bay; i.e. close to ZERO profit for the flippers...
