Mike Mesack of HSN notoriety, claims to have bought and sold in excess of 8,000 of these sets for $149-$159. Only a small amount coming from the mint directly, the rest bought on the secondary market.

Omxfl very nice data! Also, it is awesome to see someone who also appears on the other coin site I keep up with, the MintNewsBlog! :D

Thanks Frankies, nice work. I afraid price for this set will stall around summer time (vacation) and will rise a bit more near the holiday season but will probably NOT hit $100/set anytime soon.

May be we should have a poll/contest predicting when/if the price for these set will hit $75 or $100? It will be interesting to come back and read latter on.

It's a good read to go back to page one of this thread and watch how the set evolved from routine to special.
...and...re: price levels....I think that an almost 300% rise to the $50 range will hang for a while..I don't see $100 happening but I am very happy with $50

@Foxwoods Man: Does that mean you are selling some now?

I have no immediate plans to sell any. I will revisit that thought in a year or so...

...and I just sold all I had - a sparrow in the hand is better than a pigeon on the roof. This also means I won't continue my list.

A profit in hand is a profit. A profit on paper just looks good. I never have issues with anyone who takes a decent gain. We will miss your charts.

I, like some, sold the one I had left(I ordered two and sold one earlier for $28 (still almost double profit :D)) for $50. Three times the profit? Yes, please. I maybe should have kept one or ordered more to begin with but I am not really into that much of the Sacabucks. Maybe someday that will change and I may look back at this and cry. But probably not :P

With the MoD set out, I guess all the attentions are diverted away from this coin? I would think the market for this set will not rise since many are diverting cash toward the MoD so that they are not bidding up this set and those with extra set may try to sell to get the cash for MoD set. Both of this factors will control the price from rising.
More special coins will come soon....

Let's hope the Mint will throw another nugget like this set for 2015, but I'm not holding my breath.
