I was looking through the Product Releases on the Mint's website and I saw a new entry: 2014 American $1 Coin and Currency Set. The last similar item was the 2012 Making American History Coin and Currency Set. This included a 2012 S Proof ASE and a 2009 $5 dollar bill with "150" as the first 3 digits. This set sold out at just under 57K units. I wonder what the Mint has up their sleeves for this new set? BTW: No mention of the 2014 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set, it's still TBD mode.

Quote: BTW: No mention of the 2014 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set, it's still TBD mode] Interesting. I wonder if any of the coins from the Kennedy silver set will show up in that one.

I would believe that since the price for the Coin and Currency set is $13.95 it may be a dollar coin and dollar bill. No official details as of yet, but the pricing I found from a link posted on Mint News Blog. I am quite curious about this product.. https://www.federalregister.gov/art...currency-set

Contains a dollar bill plus a Native American dollar coin. Plus information on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It is the 210 year anniversary of the trip.

It also shows that this will be a unique "Enhanced Uncirculated" Sac with a very limited mintage.
Instead of near 2 million the max will be 50k

No clue what they mean by EU but it does add potential. Also weird that they did NOT include this fact in any of the promos....
I guess we will find out soon because they are now the primo shipping machine...probably will be OTD this week

I too was wondering what was meant by the "enhanced uncirculated" Foxwoods... possibly (probably not, though) the third ever EU coin? Is there anyone with close ties to the Mint to verify anything about it? I know Mike from Mint News Blog is checking into this as well but nothing as of yet... interesting.

There is no mention of EU in the product description text on the web site, but if you look at the pictures of the packaging, it clearly says "2014 Native American $1 Enhanced Uncirculated Coin".
I may take this opportunity to pick up one or two and grab some other products I've been waiting on to combine shipping.

I think they would have keyed on the different finish. I just hope it isn't "enhanced" by the packaging..
I took a chance and ordered some....50k would be squat for the 1st EU dollar coin.
NGC is requiring the coin to be submitted in the Mint packaging so that is NOT a vote for a special finish.
Assumed to be boring set now has a twist added....
