Yes, my grandmother ordered some coins from them, $10 for a silver dime, oh my gosh!

Littleton has established themselves as a legitimate dealer, however it does not take much to find prices lower than theirs. As for having it graded, it is not worth it.

Does the packet sealed have any value?

No. The package has no additional value. Put the coin in a PVC free holder.

That meets my definition of "close to the same price," especially when compared to the price people like Littleton would charge for the same coin. So I guess it's a matter of perception.

You can find a 1922 Peace dollar for $23 in uncurculated condition. I just did on ebay. It was in a PCI holder saying MS-65 ( which it's not). But it is uncurculated.

Not everyone cares about MS grades. I personally do not collect them for any series. I find circulated coins fit my tastes better.

Actually yes. I found most of them in a grave marked unknown beside the grave of Arch Stanton.
