All right, in a previous thread I showed how I did some digital editing to page 1 of my online Dansco 7070 album to fit in the multiple types of Three Cent Silver Pieces that Dansco hasn't gotten around to adding themselves.

Today, I decided to take this a step further and digitally update the "Modern U.S. Coinage" section of page 5 to include a bunch of modern coins that have come up since Dansco last updated the album around 2000 or so. I don't actually have new coins to show off yet, but at least I now have a place to display them once I get around to picking them out of my pocket change and photographing them.

[Edited to add: I forgot I have mint proof sets that I bought for my son starting in 2005, so I've now been able to photograph most of the coins.]

What do you think?

now where is that like button

like

There are spaces for the Western Journey Nickels and Lincoln Bicentennial Cents in their respective albums, so I don't think those would be in a 7070.

I think that there should be no motto and with motto $5, $10, and $20 Liberty gold pieces in the gold page. Might as well since you have all of the no motto and with motto Liberty Seated coins. After all you did ask.

True, but for now I'm limiting my changes to coins I have a hope of actually owning at some time in the near future. Same reason I didn't add slots for early quarters (pre-1830).

There are also spaces for the three different versions of Indian Head cents and the four different versions of Lincoln cents in their respective albums, but those are in the 7070 album as well. As long as they are distinct "types" I think they should be represented in the Type Album.

Of course, having said that, I'm not sure I agree with Dansco that the "Copper-Nickel Oak Wreath" and "Bronze Oak Wreath" Indian Head cents are really distinctive types, since they have exactly the same design...

Agreed.

Different metal composition, different type; just like having different spaces for silver and clad versions of the same design. However, they left out spaces for the 40% silver coins and another spot for the Zincoln.
