Oh, sorry my expertise is the dimes and not the quarters. However, I have scraped through a few junk boxes and your secret Santa did NOT pull this quarter from a junk box!
If I recall correctly the gift should be about $10 and I'd like to think that your Santa has come in on the mark. Gosh darn, it is a nice looking quarter.

I think it just makes VF-20. Beautifully original surfaces, love that chocolatey-gray color, especially on the reverse.

Is there any point of it getting slabbed my any Grading Service, I may even venture into TPGs.

I'd skip the grading service though - not warranted for a common date coin typically.
