If you don't like toning, don't visit bluccphotos.com.

He says right there in the description the coins are exposed to an electrical field. I have two of his coins. I rather like how they look.
And I have posted one of them several times here and no one has questioned it.

I love my toned/rainbow Lincoln's...I never would imagine someone taking a torch to poor President Lincoln. That seems a little harsh for a buck. Now I wonder how many are natural and how many have been simple exposed to heat...how can I tell the difference?

There is no way to tell for sure if done correctly. And usually heat treatment does NOT involve a torch. At least not if they want it to look like anything other than a torched coin.

smokeriderdon: Thank you for your response, I save all my tones and rainbows as I believe they are all beautiful in their own way. The painting of the dogs are awesome as well !
