all depends how much you paid for these! (and as mentioned possible varieties especially in the Vickies)
until that is known... the jury is out.

Those would keep me busy for a while..nice
I have yet to order a coin from outside of Canada but I'm curious to know, is there duties to pay or extra taxes charged to these coins for Canadian residents?

I would post them, stipulate 'collectibles' and write value $15!

Anyone see a variety on my 1859 please?

The inner part of the nine is a bit grubby but concerned about cleaning it....my nine year-old daughter thinks N9 DP5....

Fingers crossed but ready to be disappointed.

I broke the dollar out of a presentation case but I wouldn't imagine it's an impaired proof...

MB your dollar looks like a pl coin. That cloudy appearance happens a lot. If you put it in a little sudsy ammonia, the cloudiness should go away and leave a very pretty dollar.

First I have to say that I have in the past purchased a lot from Marbury and he ships and declares items perfectly.. I was very happy with the transaction.

Marbury: on the two lots you have listed on the bay I hope you're not in too deep on 'em. The first lot is circulated coin .. I'd be into it for face plus maybe 10%. The second lot looks like all common date issues.. so I would be into it for spot.

Hope the ones you're holding onto are gems... if you have the time please post pics... I'd love to see the other stuff! Esp. the NFLD coins!

I described them as circulated grades and I just posted them and have about 10 watchers....just on the silver......I think they will do fine. As I stated at the start of the thread they are pretty mixed a euphemism for low end....gone are the days of me spending $3,000 on one coin.....happy scavenging about on the margins....

Marbury: let me be the first to say I have no issues with any of those coins.... was just saying what I would be buying at. I also don't think you will be short on finding a buyer... starting the auction at one pound is a great idea for this sort of lot as the market will determine the final price point.

Well the silver low grade stuff sold for $52...not bad at all. I sold another group to a local dealer for $62 today....have many others on e-bay and another group will go to another dealer soon I think. I hindsight I might not have paid quite so much but there is still a small profit in there and plenty of fun looking for varieties, large beads, low 7's and extra water lines etc..so I learnt a bit.
