I would call this a solid good. G-4. The reverse has a complete though weak rim which is often absent on G-4 Barbers. To push it a half-grade higher ... not my style but the "L" of liberty is there. I would NOT call it a VG-8 but I can live with a Good-6 grade. And most definitely an original coin.

There is nothing about this coin that warrants a "NET" grade that I can see. Am I missing something?

Do you guys think this coin is worthy of a PCGS slab?

The short answer to slabbing (PCGS or otherwise) this coin is 'no.' While a tough date and mint, examples in this grade are usually seen unslabbed. It would not be cost effective to slab. A 2X2 or a plastic flip will protect it. And protect it you should. But I see nothing to be gained from spending money on a coin that we all agree is a nice, original example. A potential buyer in this grade would want it for an album most likely.
