Is it possible to find more information about these coins on the Internet?

Very pleasing coin.
From the pictures it looks quite genuine!

A good well researched general reference to these can be found in Grierson's book:

I always find these Venetian matapans interesting.
There are also Serbian medieval coins that are almost identical as these Venetian matapans.
I wrote about this before on this forum but here it is again
Dante Alighieri in his book put Serbian king in one of the circles of hel as counterfeiter of coins. In that time (second half of 13 century) Venice blamed Serbia for forging their coins. Its not certain on which Serbian king Dante alluded. Serbian king used Venetian coins as a role model because Venetian coins were famous back then in that part of Europe. Everybody knew their value was stable although some research point out that some Serbian coins had purer silver than Venetian.
Serbian coins from that period are not consider as counterfeits because they had clear inscription that they come from Serbia, but they where very similar to Venetians.
Title Rex instead of Dux and name of ruler.

for me there is a great similitude between Venetian , Serbian and Bulgarian 13th century coins .I think there are all inspired by the coins of Constantinople.Now I try to buy some pieces of this different countries to enlarge my collection.Yesterday I had no luck with a lot of 4 Bulgarian 13th cent coins , this evening there is a Serbian coin of Stefan Uros II Milutin (1282-1321).I never heard of this king -like most of us , I think - buth it is a very nice coin.albert

Yes some of them are inspired by Byzantine coins but they are not that common on the market even here.

How much were those Bulgarian coins and how much is that Serbian coin?

Milutin was a cool one of my favorite kings. He menaged to succeed his older brother after his "fall of a horse injury". He was married 5 times mostly political marriages. Ones he kidnapped nun from a monastery and married her, and his last wife was only 5 years old.
He ruled for almost 40 years (39) and built more than 40 monasteries.

I'm not sure where to find more info albert, I've been looking myself. I used online sources for attribution (like beastcoins mainly for this coin) that didn't explain what the types were. I believe it has to do with the reverse legend. mine was about 32 usd shipped, not cheap but reasonable.

@antwerpen2306
Great you should post pics of other coins too :)

@chrsmat71
Thats a nice coin too. As for the types of that coin I think you need to find some specialized catalog or some numismatic article on those coin (which would probably be in Italian)
