Very nice! Does it have any of the doubling on HP and other areas often found on this date? May I use your photo for an article?

I don't see this being a die clash...maybe a die peel?

I also have a coin of the same year with the rotation as abderrahim has pictured but without the clash. Thanks Abderrahim for the overlays.

Ken Potter, I would be pleased if you used my pic in an article. I did an article in the RCNA journal on this coin a couple years ago. I will email you HD pics if you want.
Thanks, Randy Ash..AKA Zonad.

Why would this 1951 dollar be certified PL? I thought PL strikes didn't occur until 1953/4...?

Secondly, I was just looking at my certified 1951 SP-64 dollar, and just noticed the double HP variety clear as day, and it's unlike any other DHP variety I've ever seen. Not sure what that means in terms of value though.

I always love looking at this coin but I'm thinking maybe closer to 90 degree rotation..I dont see it at 15 or 20.
