I do not have the specialist experience to grade this denomination, nevertheless this is a pleasing coin to the eye of any viewer.

There is weakness on the first 'I' of the 'III's, but not on the other two 'I's. Not sure if this a weak strike in this area or localised wear. I will assume that it is a weak strike.

I see some light parallel hairlining (obv), but that may be on the Mylar window; I will assume that it is.

With these assumptions, AU58.

wow that is so cool, I don't have any experience with die clashes but that shows me what that means. I can acually see an outline of the head too. In terms of grading, if you can tell by my the questions I ask I am no good for that

i am really digging this forum by the way. I am learning stuff, but also seeing very fine photos that describe concepts I have read about but never actually seen such clear examples of. All I can say is thanks so much

Clashes on both sides. Luster peaking through. The first "I" looks like its due to weak strike which is quite typical on these. I think its MS and I'm going with 63.
