-in the large box first line I have a question about the ''owners value''...how do I determine that?

-also on the bottom left it asks you to choose one tier of service...do I check off ''5 day ( ATB 5oz)'' ? I'm confused about the max value per coin thats listed next to each choice

A value guesstimate is fine - say $1000 or so. Tier of service I'd choose is 15 Day for $19.

Now when will you get the 1929 Half Eagle? Your coin is really a beauty. You know from what I have read the Indian Head style was rejected by collectors at first because they thought it would carry germs being recessed. I would risk it. The stone that was rejected is now the cornerstone.

well I sent it out to be graded. sent it to ANACS last week and just got an email yesterday saying that it has been graded and shipped back. the email says it was graded ''E5 Details''.... I looked that up real quick and it says problem grade.

thoughts?

E5 mean EF45 Details. It has been encapsulated as a genuine 1909-O Half Eagle. Congratulations!

P.S. Here's an example of a PCGS graded "problem coin", it is encapsulated as genuine with XF Details like yours should be when you open the package. This one sold two years ago for $3,819. http://coins.ha.com/itm/indian-half...Lot=1x=0&y=0

It may be a problem grade, but it is still a very valuable coin. There are plenty of people that would love to have it...problem or not!

When I think of "problem" I think of maybe they spelled America wrong or maybe the eagle has 2 chins or something ... You guys have any examples of what a problem could be?... To me the coin looked to be in excellent condition for its age

I all likelihood the problem is cleaning. Sometimes it seems 90% of incuse Indians are cleaned when I'm sure it's no more than 80% (sarcasm). Tooling or filed rims are always possible as are several other things but your coin did not appear damaged or suffering from other major problems. It's likely a $4,000 to $6,000 coin!

It's a D. I need a loupe to see it in this image, I'll work up a better image.

It's a bit fuzzy, but the serifs on the left of D are clearly visible.
