It is indeed fake, and Treashunt the OP said he found it. Seeing how much a authentic one is might further the intrest in coins and e have a new collector in the up and coming!

I agree, it's a fake.

Kudos to you coming here and seeking opinions instead of immediately throwing it up on ebay.

to the CCF!!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with everyone: your coin is not genuine. The first thing that stood out to me was the fact that Miss Liberty's head does not project into the rim beads. On the 1916 SLQ, the beads were made smaller above her head to accommodate the projection. Obviously, your coin does not show this.

Just out of curiosity, how big is it. Is it quarter-sized, or is it about 3 inches in diameter?

Absolutely 100 per cent guaranteed " Big Tree Chinese Money Company " authentic . Too bad it is not an authentic coin from the Philadelphia Mint .

Look familiar? The OP's coin looks worn, so it may have been used as a pocket piece. The two coins linked below are the same (look at the hair behind Liberty's head).

You see the look on the eagle's face and those eyes? Ha,ha it looks like a cartoon. And Lady liberty is a joke. She has modern hairdo and those boobs are possibly due to silicon implants. How old is Lady Liberty supposed to be these days? The color, the tone? The Chinese would fake Abe Lincoln's beard for a buck.

I agree...definitely a bad fake; who is it supposed to deceive?
