After looking at the coin and its image blown up the M is not centered, the left bottom of the M is closer to the A than the E. But there is a SMALL space that the naked eye cannot see. I am still puzzled by this thing...

I'll try to get a better image.

Thanks for the reply!

Adam

Looking at TAT in STATES, it appears that TAT are evenly spaced...I believe that suggests a Wide AM(?)

If the A is closer to the second T than it is to the first T - then it is a Close AM.

Are my eyes playing tricks? Perhaps a close up photo of the TAT?

And to CCF!

In this photo, the TAT appear to me to be equidistant from each other. Is that the way it looks to you Adam? If so + Wide AM.

Here is a helpful resource:

The TAT is evenly spaced. But the AM appears to me as close. Hmm, I'm confused a bit. Should I call it a Wide? Also I am not seeing any of these up for sale....If it is Wide it wouldn't be worth much? Or am I wrong?

Sratch that I found some for sale.

designer initials look pretty close to the memorial. I think that is indicative of Wide AM (from the Lincolncentresource link)

Yes the designers initials are the easiest way to tell. Sadly in your pictures I can't tell you because I can't see it well. Blowing it up only makes it grainier but I'm saying it is a Wide AM just because from what I can see of the initials they are close. 75% sure with your pictures

Below are the two discovery coins; the 1992-D Close AM discovered by Colin Kusch in late 2001 and the 1992 Close AM discovered by Parker Olgilvie in March 2005.
Notice that the 1992-D was struck from a LMDS to LDS reverse indicating that many of these were struck. Who knows where they ended up.

If the "M" is centered, then it is normal Hard to tell from the small images.

AdamN,

The FG on your coin appears "Close" to the building. If so it is a Wide AM -- the common one.
