I don't suppose he was wearing a Sombrero, was he? That just sticks in my mind as the perfect hat for him to wear. He could even stick the note in his hat band!

I would've purchased something at full price, just so I could leave a note saying "I haggled with the dog, who stopped barking at half off" Thanks, Doug.
