Scanner photos? If so, they make it hard to see luster. If it's lustrous.. I want it. LOL. mid grade MS if no wear.

MS details. Maybe as high as 63. Anyone that dips an unc coin should be flogged

From what I see I see a solid MS-62 Coin, any luster would be a huge bonus for me. If it is really dull though then?

Thanks for the feedback! I will post new pictures shortly, have had a crazy week at home. I will try and get better pics on my phone.
I'm still learning about luster and cleaned coins so I appreciate all feedback. IMO the coin does have luster in the fields on the obverse.

I am not sure if these images are any better, I took them with my phone. Again I am still new and learning and I need all the help I can get. I may need to find a better way of getting photos of my coins online.

MS-64, album toned.
Drop dead gorgeous.
Anyone want to take a shot on if it's a retoned dipped specimen?

I'll echo paralyse and say your new images make the coin look very, very good. This date is relatively common (~400) in circulated grades, not often seen in mint state (<50) and is very scarce above MS63 with MS64 pieces being $3,000 coins.
Anyways, it sure looks choice mint state and some hi-res images would be welcome. It is a winner from what I can see.

Thanks for some feedback, I've been reading more and learning to be more selective in the coins I choose. I really like the feel and thinking of its history. Not sure I like the idea of trapping them in a slab

This coin would be worth putting in a slab.

Very pretty coin? OP how long have you had it? Aware of any cleaning of alterations?

No real information about the coin other than it belonged to an estate sale, I picked it up for $200. It was the only seated half in the collection but the family of the old guy said he would never clean his coins and he insisted the family not clean them as well. Possibly cleaned long ago but there is no indication it was ever wiped or rubbed.

Rather well-bought at $200, I think.
