For Hawaii issues, this is the primary guide (and its free). Mr. Simon Cordova authored this information. http://sicordova.com/HMSCD20thCentury.htmlThe bottom of the webpage lists the reference (has the book listed from the original posting of this topic).

Not sure if this one would count: Information is scant, but appears to have been used during the rededication of the St. George Utah LDS temple around November 12, 1975. Nice, thick hunk of brass.

Hawaii the 49th State ! Listed in the Hibler & Kappen So-called Dollar book as HK-722a. HK's book plate so-called dollar is holed. No discussion about the holed vs. intact was provided in this book. HK gave the HK-722a a R-6 (21 - 75 known) Fuld rarity ranking. Also listed in the Medcalf & Russell book Hawaiian Money Standard Catalog 2nd Edition as 2M-390. No discussion about the holed vs. intact was provided in this book. NGC population for HK-722a is 3 (three). I assume the submitted holed specimens get assigned NGC DETAILS resulting in the minuscule population of 3. A zealous Hawaii business owner had the 49th state souvenir made. Unfortunately, Alaska became the 49th state. The business owner drilled out the "49" those in inventory. It took me a few years to locate this intact version in MS-65.
