Great coin shopaholic - any chance you could post a picture of the obverse? Can't wait for this coin to arrive. Nice!

Thanks for sharing the image shopaholic.
From your image, it definitely looks like the coin is engraved under the enamel to show the details of the flower petals. True?
Hopefully my coin will be arriving soon!

Quote: any chance you could post a picture of the obverse? @SilverDon: Sure, there is the obverse. Quote: it definitely looks like the coin is engraved under the enamel to show the details of the flower petals. True? @commems: Yes, there is engraving under both the red and black enamel so the petals have some subtle details.

I personally find it's a bit too red.

Great looking coin for sure. Mint should have made it a one ounce coin.

Wow, the silver dollar looks very impressive, I will need to order one. I love the enamel, design, and old effigy, makes it a very unique coin. It will also be for my silver dollar collection. It's more inspiring then all these cartoon coins. One year was unique, now I just wonder what has happened to the RCM. Tonight I looked at the mint's site since April, I was both surprised and disappointed in the offerings. They seem to be emulating the New Zealand mint , even offering some of their older coins. Things have changed alot since I was away!

My coin arrived today. Very nice in my opinion. I really like the candy apple red and the details.

Just reading the latest CCN, it states there are 6,25 million colour and equal amount of these poppy quarters, can't really be rare in the long run. Wonder why they just didn't colour all of them?

My favourite dollar in years. Does anyone know how many of the 10,000 were actually sold? I haven't seen it turn up discounted at LCS yet.
