The paper is very brittle and delicate so I have put it inside a 2.5x2.5 saflip so it doesn't get damaged. if I look carefully I could see that the coin had imprinted an impression in the paper over the years. This is a Classic "Nannas Knickers Draw" coin

Are you happy with the result? Regardless, I still think this is a fine looking coin.

Yes I am happy with the results and I am so glad I asked that the coin not be cleaned, it was described as being "grubby"

Not grubby, just dressed age appropriately.

HeHeHe I have 2 other Canberra florins graded MS65 and they too are "dressed for their age". Lorna is the "Prettiest" and will sit nicely with these

Great coin and wonderful story to go with it. The story in and of itself allows a personal connection that we don't have with most coins we get. Thanks for sharing!
