Quote: Not that the current owner needs to know what I think. The owner doesn't know what you think and doesn't know what it is...He knows only that this is an 8TF... We live in Italy and not too much people collect Morgan dollars and maybe only few people knows what a VAM morgan is.. I will keep you informed on the purchase and when I will have the coin in my hands I will post more pics

Please do. If we remain in agreement on the attribution with your own images, it'll be necessary to let the larger VAMming community know a new one has been found. Not that such a thing isn't expected - everyone knows there are a huge number of unattributed Morgans left out there.

I can finally say that this coin will be mine. I was the highest bidder at a french coin auction and I got this coin for 160 euro (total with Bp+ shipping cost 189 euro = 215 usd). I will receive the coin wednesday and will post new pics wishing it is really the 14.7.
Thanks

With these other pics what do you think about the grade of this coin and whoo to send the coin for certification (pcgs - ngc etc)? I have already wrote on vamworld message board and messydesk gived me some considerations and advice on the coin but I was waiting also for your comments and advice.
Thanks

The answers you received from messydesk on VAMworld are very good ones. I can only say best of luck at getting this rare bird in a righteous slab.

If you already talked with John (messydesk) then follow his advise. We are all basically his sheep in the land of VAM

From my brief experience in vamming community I realized that messydesk is absolutely one of the leading experts in the VAM community. For this reason I will absolutely follow his advice. Thanks
