This is odd.

Here's the same one (same pics and all) on Craigslist from Asheville, NC. The seller on ebay is from New York.

The coin and slab could be fake as it is not a MS63. Someone is going to get burnt as the auction ends in a few minutes.

The real coin sold for $1880 at Heritage and the fake coin sold for $1740. I do not understand why someone would pay that kind of money for the fake coin shown in the photo.

On the reverse: Look at the "O" in the word "ONE", and the bases of the letters L - A, and R. Also, on the obverse, what is that "stuff" between Liberty's mouth and her hairline? Someone shelled out $1,740.00 for this coin. Jack

Making so the seller can not sell on ebay is not enough as the seller needs to be arrested for forgery. Why does nothing happen to ebay sellers selling fake coins in slabs?

Because ebay makes too much money off of everything and they do not care about the small guys that keep the website running. Scam city!

How can anyone lay down that kind of money on an obvious fake?
There are obviously more than one fake out there with that cert number. The ebay example has a large gash on the nose whereas the craigslist fake does not. It is odd that the background in the two sets of photos is the same. Something very wrong going on here....

Yeah that was a lot of money. I'm not going to cash in "an extra" on a $20 coin but this....
