MS62. No signs of wear on fingers, face, elbow, drapery, or cap. Reverse very weak, (possible?) late die state (some details have been polished off entirely in the wreath such as the bottom of the corn sheaf at 3:00), several die cracks and maybe even a bit of rust?

Thanks everyone
You know I'm glad that you guys seen what I saw in the coin as I was thinking unc aswell ..
Unfortunally anacs says cleaned on this one , appears to be some hairline on the reverse ..
So I was thinking maybe unc details , I'm not sure if it's original or not I have seen coins in the past labeled as cleaned come out problem free when resubmitted ..
I guess depending on what it looks like once I receive it , if it turns out to have some decent luster and isn't covered in hairline I may throw it in on a submission to icg and see what they say ..
I payed 27 bucks for this coin , I thought that wasn't bad even if it is cleaned as I like the coin overall ..

Decent looking coin for the grade. I saw the reverse scratches and figured it had been wiped but pictures can be deceiving.

Surprised they AU'ed it. It looks MS to me.

For what you paid, it's a very, very good coin.

Maybe you should consider resubmitting to a reliable TPG.

At least you got a very good price. ANACS said cleaned which is often a judgement call that changes from day to day unless it's harshly cleaned and it doesn't appear to be that bad. I did think AU when I first glanced at the images.

Well guys I've found that all 4 of the company's have their inconsistencies .. I really believe that one company will be great at some series while horrible at others and I've seen this with all of them .. I know a lot of you will disagree with me here but for me Anacs and pcgs are more consistent than ngc or icg ..
I don't submit enough coins to pay for member ship with pcgs or ngc so for people like me that leaves anacs and icg...
Now I do believe anacs probably under graded this coin a bit, I'm not sure about the cleaned part yet ..
Depending what it looks like in hand , I might try resubmitting if it looks like it has a chance ..

Do you need a membership to submit to NGC or PCGS?

Yes both pcgs and ngc require you to sign up for one of their several membership packages , I believe they do come with vouchers to get some coins graded .. I'm not really sure about a lot of the details as it's been a while since I looked into this ..
A lot of people if submitting just a few coins here and there can do so via their local coin shop but unfortunately there isn't one within a good distance of me ..
So that leaves me with anacs and icg and I will say icg isn't the greatest but for the price I don't mind using them on lower value coins ..

its worth not buying a couple of coins and saving towards the PCGS membership with the 8 coin voucher. If you like to have TPG coins that is. ICG is terrible. ANACS is not far behind.

Same. There aren't really any good ones nearby, maybe 45 minutes to a an hour away.

Wow Coinguy! Thats a true beauty of a dime. I noticed the faint rubs on the reverse, but the obverse doesn't appeat to have been touched. Nice score!
