Beautiful coin, well centered. This coin saw very little or no circulation. Congrats on an excellent addition to your collection.

Love these silvered coins, and the 'nonstandard' busts. Very cool.

You did well for that sum. Though you could get an example of this coin in good shape cheaper, to get a fully silvered one the asking price seems to be $60-$90.

With a common type of coin like this, when in doubt, do a search on V-coins and you will get an idea of the market. The problem occurs when there are too few examples to draw any conclusions on the price.

You can also search on cgb.fr ,for Licinius I , Heraclea mint , there are 224 matches with different coins.30 € is a reasonable price , but for me the maximum for a comman AE coin of this period.albert

Thanks I had a look on the cgb page...some nice coins!
Now I've had a good look around and I agree at this quality around $60+ but usually higher!
Thanks for your inputs really appreciated!

Someone said HT referred to the mint of Heraclea. That's right. H = Heraclea and T = Thracia (in Thrace).
