Thanks so much for the compliments everyone! I am not going to reveal the grade yet because I am going to put it in the grading forum.

Congratulations - those early dollars are tough and that's a real nice looking example.

Since I already revealed the grade in the other thread, this is how the coin graded... I plan to enjoy it for a few more days before it goes into the safety deposit box.

Excellent. So are you going to crack that baby out and put her where she belongs?

When I want a coin that is in a holder, especially NGC and PCGS, and even more especially if I consider it a valuable coin - I'll take a photo of the coin, print it on glossy paper, insert that into the album, and leave the coin in the holder in a 9 pocket page.
I love the 9 pocket pages as I consider them a great way to display my slabs in my own custom album.
If you use those pages, I suggest you put a blank flat plastic page (like a copy page holder) in between the 9 pockets, so you never see any rub from one page to another.

I think holes were meant to be filled, but to each their own. As long as you are happy, that is all that matters.

Glad to see I am not the only one. However, I still think each collector still has the right to their own method.
