Hi CM - just cents so far for me. I did take a second look at the moderns in this latest box, but I didn't see any. I did snag 3 moderate clashes though so given my spotting them, I suspect I would have seen the trails if they were there.

Seems you had a dandy of a box!

CoinMasters: You make me jealous since I'm on the west coast and we rarely get P mint anything. When you post all these clashes and trail dies it makes me want to move.

Yes, you probably would have Rackster. If you're checking them quickly though, you might add a little "twist" as you go. I understand Blue, but then you'd miss a lot of D and S mints. Remember also, the only P RPM's are on War Nickels. It all works out.
Thank ya'll for the comments.

Exactly CM, a twist to catch the angle/lighting to accentuate the clash/trail. Found the clashes...but no trails this time. But I'm looking; love finding trail coins!

CoinMasters: We miss all the new double dies :[ 2009 cent double fingers, homestead double pump/windows, ocean in view double tree. The majority of those varieties are P mint. Something's up with your machines that they keep making so many error/varieties

I just talked with John Wexler a few days ago and he felt that Philadelphia may have changed their hubbing presses (single squeeze, but the hub to die setup is still the same as it was. We both feel that as long as that setup remains, the Philadelphia Mint will continue making doubled dies.

By the way, great find on the wavy step, trail die nickel.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I confess, I love Trails and Doubled Dies. Keep looking, they are out there, and on both coasts. I know that's true because I can find S RPM's here in Virginia.

Thanks, CC. My lucky streak started about the time you joined. We all have them. Learn here, what to look for and look at a lot of coins, and we will all marvel at yours.

Thanks Rackster & CM for the encouragement. I find myself searching and then searching through them again and again because of new varieties that a learn about (mostly from you all). I have so few actual errors/varieties that I don't want to miss anything. I have probably been through my 80's decade of coins like 10 times because of new discoveries. It is so much fun but frustrating because of how little I know.

That is a nice example of a trail die. There's so much of it easily visible. Nice find.

Hang in here CC, you will learn much and quickly. I've been on here less than one year.
Thanks,MS70Error5. I've posted five of them on here in the past few weeks, even one that is unlisted. They are definitely out there to be found.

What a dandy of a trail! Thanks for sharing CoinMasters, These are neat. It's to bad Thomas looks like he just finished his 4th Pub brawl of the evening.
