I think the split in the "T" is PMD.

While I am not convinced, I would be interested to hear what Wexler would say, if you were to send it in!

I do not see any indications of hub doubling.

IMHO

the devices are going cut/clogged etc on a slope leaving the bottom parts that are wider on top while picture

See Coop's has a image for this

This used to get me all the time

here is a thread where he explains it

Ok lets not guess around and take an educated look here and I am in no way an expert. Ok so the T we will start with. I see a split in the middle yes but it is in the middle It would be a major double die if it had a separation line in the middle. The devices would be 1.5 times the normal size it would be obvious. Also it would not be only on 2 letters. So what do we know. Doubled die increase the sized of devises and machine damage reduces. If that split in the middle came from the mint it would be some sort of machine damage because the device is reduce and it is not doubled because it is normal size. Leads us to believe PMD . There is also a mark to the left of the T as well probably also PMD. Nothing else would cause that unless you really want to sound crazy and say struck through something . So now the S the bottom curve of the upper extension of the left is what looks to appear more shelf-like. Also it has a small dent on it on the inside of the curve and again our device is made smaller. So we can conclude either machine damage or PMD. Since we have a ding on the inside of curve and a mark but the T and a line in middle of t that is not doubling and most likely is not machine damage then my vote would be PMD

P.s. not to mention the rim has damage only in that area right above the last T in trust and to the left of the first t in trust

Hey, appreciate the diagnoses...while it was odd looking and I'm getting better at explaining many things I find and a reason for it I could not with this but I'm convinced it is not hub doubling and moving on,thanks!

I will not say how much I have to go through again. Let's just say I would need to set aside a weekend.

For what it's worth; using this same process I recently discovered a Retained Cud I had set aside a long time ago. I'm guessing I didn't know what I was looking at back then.

Nice pics by the way!
