Vaslin Pillar of the Community United States 914 Posts	Posted 01/30/2008 1:01 pm I'm sure there is. Thanks to Wikipedia, solder melts at 361°F, gold melts at 1947°F. DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'm TALKING ABOUT! So, I'd suggest putting it in the oven at 400°F and place some solder remover on top of the coin once it's hot.
