I'd wager an MS-66. 65 minimum. I like it.

Very high end gem uncirculated minimum 65...maybe 66 or 67 I see almost no marks at all.

That puts a smile on my face you guys. I was hoping you would say MS65 or better. Picked this beauty up for 240US :)

It looks mid-MS and likely at least 64 but the pics are small and not of high enough resolution to accurately grade beyond that. My guess from the images would be MS65 and certainly a bargain at $240. Have you weighed it and confirmed the diameter?

I'm going to see if I can possibly get some larger pictures BH. Weight is right, but scared to get my calipers anywhere near it lol.

I agree. This is a beauty. At least MS65 and most likely 66

That does not appear to be a hairline, which in numismatic parlance applies cleaning, but rather is a light luster scuff likely caused by contact with another coin. I've never owned a Liberty quarter eagle over MS64 and yours looks better than that one.

Really appreciate all your replies everyone. US coins and US gold are very new to me along with grading so I have been learning a boatload from all of you :) That's interesting BH, looking at it some more I am thinking you are right as it is definitely isolated to a small almost zigzag scuff.

That is a really high end gold piece. I would say it's an MS-65 minimum and a 66 would not be out of the question. Nice coin!
