Is the ring in the OGH slightly green in color? There's a thread on these "green" rings.

Yes, the ring is lime-green colored. I'll have to look up that thread.

Thanks. There is another die crack through the hair.

I bought this one because it looked undergraded. You will be surprised.

I see that now. I like it even more, especially now that you're hinting towards MS63?

I have some like that, that I submitted back in the 80s. The ring wasn't green at the beginning, but turned color over time. I thought I stored them improperly, but in the thread, Conder (I think) said it was a defect in the ring re: UV protection. I'll try and find the thread.

Well PCGS has MS62 on the label.

Not sure if it's a mechanical error or not but even on a bad day with really conservative graders I can't see this one under 63 and most 64s don't look this good. Perhaps a CAC Gold candidate if I ever get another submission together for them. Thanks for the grades and comments!

Well played if purchased at MS62ish money. It should be an easy gold bean.

I think they missed the mark on this one BH. You've got a gold bean candidate all day. Great pick up for the money.

I think that its closer to a 65. A 62 is REALLY conservative. Perhaps it will get a gold CAC sticker if you decide to send it in.
