It has the markers for MDS. What does that mean?

I re-searched the roll I found the first one in. I am not even halfway through and I found 3 more of the exact same markers and everything!

Final tally after roll re-search, 11 of the exact same doubling and exact same markers. Should I consider selling some?

EDS (Early-Die-State) MDS (Mid-Die-State) LDS (Late-Die-State) VLDS (Very-Late-Die State) There are terms showing how much wear a die has experienced during normal use of the coin making process. Here are figures that will help you to see how many coins are struck during/after a certain die state. How does the dies show die wear after a certain die state has been reached: Hope this helps.

It does! Thank you very much. So should I consider trying to sell some now that I have 11 of them?

to the Forum. Sounds like you've made some nice finds. That link also provides estimated values. I think they're a little low compared to what most of them actually sell for. Only you know whether you want to sell or collect, or maybe some of both.

You might give them a try. Seems like there are a lot of them out there of all of the most of the LP2 DDR's were in mint box rolls from the mint. Someone might want to complete his set? I have 8 extras as well. (result from one roll) You just never know.

It doesn't take any value away from the coins unless you store them improperly after taking them out of the mint roll. I opened the mint roll and found 11 errors out of the 50 coins so as long as you store them properly and don't touch the face of the coin, go right ahead and open that roll. Maybe you'll get as lucky as me.

The mint rolls on the Philly 2009 LP2 were the only rolls that had DDR's in them consistently. The LP 1-4s P & D were all just BU coins. I left the Denver ones still in the rolls.
