I think there's just too many variables to call it a technique. For it to be so, one has to assume that RCM produces the announced mintage of every issue all in one batch because they're able to predict each is going to be an online sell-out in advance. |

Yes, but a maximum order doesn't necessarily mean the barrel will be permanently emptied with no future refills.

Not bad news from other forum:
people (might be have contacts with the Mint) will check, if it possible to buy the Lucky Loonies boxes of rolls for face value (sounds like wholesale purchase, that's why for Face Value).

You can bulk order from WINNIPEG, one time fees and shipping, but a box of loonies is heavy.

Yes, John, sure. But Winnipeg it still RCM. It just skipping official sales channel of Ottawa. And sure it will not be fancy package, but not big difference, since they are same Loonies, and even special roll not serialized. |
