Its a great set. You can even turn the coins around, meaning if one is upside down, you can straighten it out. Neat setup.

I have two of those sets and they are neat. I figured to make a gift of one to my nephew at some point in the future. Early on in this forum, they were ridiculed as just another format to stick Presidential dollars in something ! Ha Ha LoL.....and they ARE I guess, but the packaging is cool and DOES work as a selling point...rightfully so, sometimes, in my opinion. Well, it's just a neat little set and doesn't cost ya much so....and by the way, they're still available on the U.S. Mint's website for anyone interested (last I checked) In fact.....there's still a lot of inventory from 2007 that they're selling......... And with regards to the "contest giveaway".....Man !.....I've really got to investigate "other" areas of this forum sometime ! I'm so used to going to the same spot time after time, that I see that I'm missin' out BIGTIME !.....

I didn't know that you were my uncle! Well, welcome to the family Uncle Eaglefoot. Are you going to wait until my birthday to give it to me?

Amac, what parts are you trying to add? These are counts of the different package options. There is no total given on that page that is the sum of any of the listed parts. The uncirculated dollars were available in three different configurations: just P, just D, or both P&D. Do not add the P set and the D set to get P&D sets; they are different beasts. Also, these totals are not to be included in the figures for this 2007 Dollar set or included in the regular mint set; nor should the totals of these sets include these individual options.

Let's look at these first: 2007 Presidential $1 uncirculated set (P) 13,9532007 Presidential $1 uncirculated set (D) 10,2532007 Presidential $1 uncirculated set (P&D) 61,398This means that from these three sets: 75,351 of each Presidential dollar was minted in Philadelphia 72,191 of each Presidential dollar was minted in Denver. Now, let's consider this set: 2007 uncirculated dollar coin set 71,228Trouble is, one does not know if the Dollars are P or D! Let's assume that half are P and half are D (even though it is unlikely, based on the mintages give in the first section being uneven). That means: 35,614 of each Presidential dollar was minted in Philadelphia 35,614 of each Presidential dollar was minted in Denver. Add this all together, we get: 110,965 of each Presidential dollar was minted in Philadelphia 107,805 of each Presidential dollar was minted in Denver. This of course does not include the Dollars minted for circulation, nor the ones included in the mint sets!
