I know huh. Was it both Barbers or just the father that disliked Morgan?

Barber > Morgan.

Someone had to.

Do not crack it or dip it. I think she is nice as is.

Is it normal that the reverse is "tilted" from the obverse? I don't have many Barber dimes to look through but it seems if the obverse is straight the reverse is offset about 15 degrees to the left

And much as I like Barbers does the obverse look a lot more like Apollo than Aphrodite? Very masculine for lady liberty

It looks like the reverse is rotated. I think that is pretty common on classic US coins.

I don't see it much on Morgans maybe because they are bigger it was easier to align the die?

No reason for cracking it out as it is all natural right now and beautiful!
So out of curiosity - was the TITLE of the thread the error (morgan) or was the picture posted the mistake? If the picture was the issue then please feel free to post the Morgan!

No it was sort of a poor joke - I started collecting again six months ago after having sold my entire collection and moved three times

and I started by collecting Morgans and have another 100 or so to go for my set. Just sort of got sidetracked and for a Morgan guy to go with a Barber of all things
