I've searched and can't find another no mint 2016 penny. Anyone else find one?

I have yet to see a 2016 (or 2015 for that matter) cent WITH a mintmark in circulation. Probably because I live about an hour from Philadelphia!

I'm in Illinois, and I see an equal number of Philly and Denver cents.

As a kid in the sixties I always felt deprived by the scarcity of S-mints in change. Grew up in CT.

I have a 2016 penny no mint mark, you ever find any information on it?

Laura - cool, you're from Alaska. Yeah, I can't imagine too many Philly coins getting up your way. You can order some rolls on ebay. But, now if you get a 2017 with no mint mark then you will have "A Find". Because for 2017 only they put the P on the Lincoln cents that were minted in Philadelphia. This year will be highly collectible going forward because they are only doing it for this year (or so they say). Hope you keep coming back.

But it will probably be a "highly collectible" coin with a 4 billion plus mintage. That means there will only be one for every two people on earth.

Well I figured half of them would rot away. I still think keeping a roll or 2 of the uncirculated for this year is a grand Idea.
